How much will I be compensated?

Different courier has difference policy in regard to compensation, when your claim is successful, we will notify you with the total compensation that we have credited back to your account.

And please note, we do have a list of items that we cannot carry at all (prohibited items) and a further list of items which we cannot provide cover for.

 

  • UKMail claims
    All UKMail claims have a 10 excess level which will be deducted from the total compensation amount. Its insurance policy only covers the cost price (purchase price) of the item.

  • myHermes claims
    There is no excess level with myHermes claims and its insurance policy covers the full retail price (but limited to the insurance level bought).

  • DHL claims
    There is no excess level with DHL claims and its insurance policy covers the cost price (purchase price) of the item.
